Local Politics here in Northampton seem to have got interesting somewhere along the lines, a number of formerly grouped Councillors have broken ranks, the local Liberal Democrat Administration seem to have applied EU style limitations in the Council Chamber, and the whole situation seems to be getting a lot more interesting than it has been in recent years, think I'll be trying to find out if these are our new champions or whether their just out for the normal self-centred political aims of our career politicians; hope it's the former because that would put the heat back into our local politics once and for all!!

Our political system is broken, and only a sharp intake of the truth and a challenge to the tired old party system will rescue us from our potential demise.
